After warming up the engine and testing functions like antilag, we could see aluminium particles in the oil. Since the thrust bearing had some small damage after last season, we wondered if this aluminium could be left in the system. Desided to take a slow first run with new oil to see, and get log data. Oil pressure normal before the run. After a couple of gears with boost I could see changes from normal in oil pressure. Coasted through the finish and headed back to the pits. Log shows drop in pressure under boost, and lower on idle than normal. With even more aluminium in the oil after the run, we´re not taking any chances. Most likely the thrust bearing is damaged, so need to open up the engine again.

What a Easter!
Now the Easter is soon over, but what a Easter!! Great weather, but much greater things has happened too: The team won a new prize in Elmia, Runner up 2013, one of Top 20!! Congratulations, and especially to Stian and Torleif who are working so great with the car as always:-) Below you can see some pictures from the show in Sweden.
Bilsport Performance&Custom Motor Show!
The first happening this year is participating in Bilsport Performance & Custom Motor Show in Elmia, Sweden 28th to 31th of Mars 2013.
Here we will show as always, Europe´s fastest air-cooled beetle, and look forward to meet other peoplewith the same interest:-)
